thank you very much for your very well explained video, great job! I have successfully set up Davinci Studio server but I can only access it on local network. I can't connect remotely. I've configured DDNS, I've checked the firewall, I've configured port forwarding but nothing works, even though I can access DSM remotely without any problem. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear from you. 🙏

Hello! Seems very nice, and helpful, but I wonder. We would like to keep the main .braw files (huge ones) on our NAS, and I would like to work with my partner on proxy files. My partner is outside my local network, where NAS is. WIll it work? So files are kept on NAS, both proxys and main files (we dont need to have nothing on our computers), and we connect to shared project and work together. Is that right?

This solution is for syncing the project edits only, it doesn’t do any media sharing. As I showed in the video, I have a full set of files both on my Mac and on my iPad. So if your partner can link their local proxies to the project while working externally, then it should work fine. Needs testing anyway.

Does this adding the container in to the bridge is possible if there is other like Q BitTorrent added and using the bridge . I am not able to connect from outside of my home network ?

everything worked well, but when going to add project library in davinci resolve it says "Cannot connect to Network Project Library" Please check for correct credentials and if the server is online and allows client connections. im on resolve 19.1.1

It should work on the latest version as well. Just to try it out: set the database name/user and the password to be any string of lowcase letters. No numbers, special symbols and upper case letters. If the network setup is correct, it should let you in.

I wanna cry, everything woks but i'm stuck at connecting davinci to the project server it says invalid credentials, i checked infinite times credentials are correct or at least are what i have chose when i created the project. i also tried deleting and creating a new project from scratch but nothing, any ideas?

try making aa password without too many special characters if you havent figured it out yet.

Overall it's great tutorial and everything is going smoothly until building and running container. (I'm on Win 11 using DS220j) Console threw a warning at me that requested image's platform (linux/amd64) does not match the detected host platform (linux/arm64/v8) Additionally container don't want to run. Log says exec /bin/sh: exec format error (stderr) Checked file station and folders backups, database, hooks and jobs exists but they're empty.

It can be because DS220j doesn’t officially support Docker and has a different architecture (ARM instead of x86/x64).

It has just one pair of credentials which you use to access the project database. So as long as the database is accessible outside of the local network, it should work. No other accounts are needed.

It worked for me in 19 beta, but beta is beta, so no guarantees until it gets stable.
