Bought a 98 back in !st part of Dec. of 97. Beautiful black with taupe interior and had the gold accents on the outside. Ordered it out of Columbia South Carolina at the Pontiac GMC Dealership salesman said it would be 7 -10 days. Don't know if you have any pictures from that far back. But my choice was to leave all the gold whoop tee doos off except for the pinstriping, around the wheel wells, down the middle, the top, and to follow the ground effects. Even the salesman that drove it down said everybody at the plant thought it looked a lot better from all the rest. Hell when I drove up to the dealership and there it sat all black and shiny I never expected it to look that beautiful ! Open the back doors at night with just the accent lights on and it was like traveling thru a time warp, that black widow was beautiful. Even though it's almost 20 years old I'd give about anything to have it back now.Drove like a dream. Gotta get serious about some money and get another one !!! I got grandkids I need to haul around now and they would love it. One could be playing games the other skyping with the girlfriend and my little angel back on the sofa listening to her music, while I am up front jamming to some Eagles on the DVD !!! Best baby sitter in the world !!!!! Only thing I don't like know is having to leave the stock windows in them now, guess that has something to do with thegovernment safety features now ???

Until you have a van like this you don’t know how nice a trip can be. It like driving your home around. So comfortable the bed is killer to sleep while someone else is driving. Kids with the TV games it just made trip as good as they can be like heaven on wheels. The only one bad part is washing it.

it's a van not a RV. These Explorer Vans are amazing vans. They are from my hometown of Warsaw, IN. My family had many Explorer vans in the 80's and 90's and they are still being built with amazing qualities.

lol commenting on a 2014 video in 2019 asking if they still have it. Explorer vans are amazing vans though. They are converted in my hometown in Warsaw, IN. All vans are converted by hands not machines. My family had a few Explorer vans back in the 80s and 90s. I mean Hillary Clinton used an Explorer van when she was out on the road.. Not sure that is a good or bad thing for Explorer Vans but it shows the quality they still put out.
