The sad part about the Aljo hate is that the guy genuinely seems like a nice guy man. he just cant catch a break

He really didn’t speak on everything, after the first Yan fight he had surgery on his neck and was out for a year, before beating Henry Cejudo, Dana and Sean OMalley discussed making the winner do a quick turn around 3 months later and Aljo was injured but still took the OMalley fight which Sean had close to a year to train for. They blackballed him his whole title reign

ufc did him dirty with that O'malley fight Sean had a year to prepare while aljo stayed super active

I think Aljo is starting to finally get love now that he’s a contender again. If he fights Movsar next that would propel his career. Movsar is probably the only guy in that division more hated than Aljo. He would be a regarded as a hero for sending that wet blanket back to the end of the queue. Plus stylistically, the wrestling exchanges would be sick. Also he’d match up well against Brian Ortega. Either way, a win over either guy would put him in title contention at 145 and change public perception of him. He’s sitting pretty so long as he gets either of those guys and they don’t end up fighting each other instead.

Nothing personal to Aljo, but he fights like he’s a human backpack which is boring as hell! I literally was fighting harder to keep my eyes open during his fight during the PRELIMS of UFC 300!

I knew that they would bring up the post with titles. His family/friends were just trying to cheer him up. Why is that so hard to understand. Then, after that, because of his family/friends cheering up, he expected the title. Edited: Other than that, nothing else to say.

Wow this vid is crazy biased. It skips over everything. The first fight Petr Yan was about to win handily, asks his corner if he can throw a knee and they mistakenly tell him yes. Then he's DQ'd. - People saw right through the exaggerated acting from aljamain sterling. He sat up, then would pretend to fall down again. When he realized he could avoid the imminent loss, he started to act drunk and disoriented. It was painfully obvious. - Even though it was clearly an accidental mistake from Yan, Aljo would insult him on twitter and call him a cheater as if he intentionally meant to throw that knee, even though it was the only way Aljo could could have won the fight. We saw Yan ask his corner before throwing it and he had the fight in his hands, it wouldn't make sense for him to intentionally throw the fight. - It's not just that he was partying after the DQ win. When he won it, he faked crocodile tears, threw the belt on the ground, said he didnt want it and walked away. Then shortly after he's celebrating it, walking around flexing it, raising a toast with the belt draped over his shoulder at the same time. What does common sense tell you? - He didn't have humility, he'd be arrogant and argue with everyone. Aljo couldn't even accept the fact Yan threw the knee accidentally and would still imply he did it intentionally to "cheat" in a fight Yan was about to win anyway. On top of that, he's a boring fighter that grapplefucks to victory. That's probably another layer of people not respecting him.

He 100% faked that injury to get the belt. The flopping around grabbing his face was the greatest terrible acting ever.

Hey so I know you're living in the past but if you ask me what dumbass is gunna take an illegal knee to the face in a championship fight and just let the other man continue beating on him, Anthony Smith took the knee and he took the asswhooping. Sterling took and excuse on the first fight and came back and drag Yan around.

If you don’t like that I’m attracted to relatability it’s ok. You don’t have to watch. I cheer for all types of fighters. Ive never seen him fight. so I’m basing everything off what Patrick said.
