Name ideas! (some sillier than others!) -Fossil (the pattern looks like bones in the dirt) -Honeycomb -Cipher -Heiroglyph -Alphabet Soup -Coffee Crumble -Chunky Peanut Butter -Scramble (because the pattern is all discombobulated) -Crop Circle -8 bit, or Pixel (The outlines make it look like it's covered in some kind of pixelated desert biome map from a game. Or literally an 8bit version of a snake pattern--the little orange blobs look like a pixel artist's interpretation of scales!) -Ant Farm -Sandbar -Tatooine (I seriously can't unsee the desert thing) -Giraffe -Motocross (looks like a dirt bike trail)

Nice visit with JSA Reptiles. Beautiful snakes and the prize male in the end certainly is unusual. Love his head design, colours, pattern. The computer never does justice to the colours of snakes, so this one must be breath taking in person.

The question is never "What will you take for this World's First [insert combo]?" It's "What will you take for the _next_ one you hatch?"
@darcieclements48802 жыл бұрын
I will agree the whole pompeii complex is pretty awesome, but funny thing is, sometimes it's the rarity that makes a morph stand out. Once they become more common than the wild type, suddenly the wild type seems more cool. I think albino retics are a good example of the rarity effect, but you will also see it in things like milk snakes that are red black and yellow in the wild, people become super interested in the variations that are black and white. Bright red is super common in hognose now, so it's the blueish ones and white ones that stand out the most right now. Knowing this, I have started picking my favorite morphs with this in mind and what one I would like to see oodles of forever if I could never see another morph again. But yeah, the nice scripty pattern with bold red, black and yellow is nice. I'd like to see it in the blue-silver that super lori gene does... though, until it is 5 years old, we won't really know what they look like. Balls change in color so much in the first 5 years.

You could call this morph the jawbreaker because people are going to break their jaws either from gritting their teeth out of jealousy or dropping their jaw so far out of shock it breaks. You could also call it the sandstorm due to it’s colors and pattern. Amazing snake no matter which way you look at it or what you name the morph. Thank you for sharing!

You’re so great & responsive -I asked this on another channel but NA-do NOT own reptiles/snakes -sooo… I feel horrible for these “breeder” snakes in these plastic bins-seems everyone says snakes need nice, big enclosures …am I missing something? Is this their whole life? Sorry so long 😃
@simpled5755 Жыл бұрын
The bins are a lot larger than they look, also ppl who say that crap about needing massive enclosures are putting their feelings onto the animals, anthropomorphizing I believe is the word
@albatraozgirl Жыл бұрын
Ball pythons will get stressed and stop eating in big enclosures. They feel safe and secure in closed in spaces. That's one of the reasons they tend to be kept this way. They actually thrive in it.
@chainbenwa2713 Жыл бұрын
So what’s the point in owning one of it wants to live in a drawer lol something doesn’t seem right here
@GabbityGabby Жыл бұрын
Our ball Python loves his 4x2x2’ enclosure. Uses every inch of it and is very active at night. He has never missed a meal either. The idea that animals are stressed out by a large environment is not true, they are stressed by not enough cover and places to hide. Absolutely agree they do not belong in a chest of drawers. People who keep them that way do it because it is easier to maintain large numbers that way for breeding,not because it benefits the animal.
