The title of this video will be surprising to many of you. Indeed it was surprising for me too, since I did not expect to be part of someone's very special day in Sri Lanka. I have been invited to a wedding in the south part of the island. And I had to make sure I am prepared with my clothes to be respectful and also look nice at the same time!

Normally not all are wearing sarom for weddings. Some are wearing trousers and shirts and some are whearing sarom and shirts. But lot of are wearing trousers and shirts.

Good choice. The sarong is handloom,pure cotton and silk that is why its a bit expensive.its handmade. U could wear flip flops or sandals provided it leather.. Rubbers are too beach style to be worn to a wedding or an official function
