You have the worst luck! I’m glad that Disney was able to restore the magic a little bit for you. I live in Scotland, and I would not drive to Paris as it takes too long, so I couldn’t stay here, but it looks nice. The mosquitos are ridiculous though. Disney has many ways of keeping the mosquitos away in WDW, so if they can remove them from a swamp in Florida, why can’t they do it in DLP too? We sat on our balcony every night in Florida and didn’t get bitten. Great to see 2 episodes of Croissant Talk in one video! 🤣

Hi great videos, just like to say that we have stayed at Davy Crockets four times now and have never had any issues, with two adults and two kids, for us when the kids where young it was great as we could put the kids to bed and we could stay up and chill

Believe it or not, I prefer Davy Crocket over most of the other Hotels. But I never had that mosquito issue. Also back in the day, that place had the best pool of all the hotels.

We checked in on the 16th so just missed you, but had no issues with the cabin or insects, but we did have repellent that we used so perhaps it worked even better than I thought it had lol. Mind you might have put up with a flood for VIP fast passes :) Still missing Disney now.

Love your video, I stay here a month ago and luck had no problems, only the rain in Disneyland at night caused me problems as we missed the fireworks and parades

Me and my boyfriend had a similar experience at Villages Nature Paris a few months ago. We arrived to a cottage that was not cleaned and we were assured that the housekeeping will take care of it while we enjoy our day in the park. Coming back to the cottage after watching the fireworks we find out it's still not clean. After a fight with the security guys (reception is closed during the night) they move us to a VIP cottage that has hair in the bed and shower. We barely got any sleep that night and Disney handled the situation extremely poorly. We only got compensated with 4 fast passes and were still charged 300 euro for that horrible night.

It's a shame you guys had a hard time, when I went I had a wonderful time (accept for getting lost lol but that was kinda fun 🤣). Just some bad luck for you guys so if you go again I hope it goes better!

We spent several times at the ranch and we had never any problems. Isn't it, that they replace or refurbish the cabins step by step since last year?

We had similar issues as Davy Crockett, the showers and beds were broken and cleaniness was poor in our cabin. Disney were really good with dealing with our issues though. I feel all the cabins need a serious upgrade.

Hi Bethann, You do need a car to get to Davy Crockett Ranch from Disneyland Paris and vise versa. In the early years of EuroDisney there was a shuttle service, but that's been cancelled. Thanks for watching!

I'm so sorry to see that you had problems during your stay at Davy Crockett Ranch! :o I have been there three times and did not have any problems except for the very first time, one of the showers wasn't working properly but that could be resolved very quickly and afterwards everything was fine :) would go there again or rather to another Disney Hotel?

Looking at booking this place in October but really not sure now...where else would you recommend for similar prices and facilities? My husband has dietary requirements and therefore we need the option to self cater.

You did right by heading to reception. So sorry to hear that you went through this. I am sure the water on the floor in your 2nd cabin has happened before. Do you think past guests have accepted it and never reported the situation or it has been an on-going problem that has not been addressed?

Thanks for the video you two, sadly you dont seam to be lucky this time :/ in all honesty we toaugh many times over staying davey crockett ranch,and well every time dismisst it. I dont wanna go to the park and then come ohme for dinner or lunch and do my grocerys and cooking my self^^ thats what i do every day :) i wanna stay in the park, and when its time for eating pull out a voucher go to a counter restaurant and delve into the atmosphere of the restaurant...so na i guess davey corockett isnt just my cup of tea

Davy Crockett Ranch needs a big upgrade. Just close the whole thing down and redo it. Something like that would never happen at Disney World. Service at DLP is such a joke compared to WDW
