Thanks to Robin Widhelm; this rarity from TVLand was recorded by her, but needed a little editing. I offered and sent the result back to Robin. She's given me permission to share it wherever I might find Davy Jones fans! Thank you Robin. David Jones, RIP. We miss you so.

I just loved that about him!

It is beautiful how much his daughters truly loved their dad. I saw him and that female he was married to at the end. They were on Dr. Phil. I was horrified how she treated him. All I could think of what is wrong with you!? This man obviously loves you. Simple as that. How can you talk to and dismiss a man you gave your heart to. Women are suppose to be a helpmate, encourage her husband take care of him and watch out for him just as your husband is to do for his wife. I cried that she just did not seem to get the importance of her marriage or see the incredible love for a man who was all about family. It just made me angry watching her put him down. I cannot imagine what his daughters felt to see the father they loved mistreated. There was just something in that Dr. Phil show that made me want to bring Davey home and take care of him. Give him a real home. Share his joy and his sorrow. At his age I wish he could have had an exceptional woman who lived for him, not what she could get from him. In our golden years we should be able to love and be loved without fear.

When the sad part was is she caused distance between Debbie and his daughters at the end of his life. His third wife is dreadful she was just a cloud chaser. Unfortunately, I thought he was smarter than that but men of all ages think with the head that’s not on their shoulders.

He was so full of energy and look how he was fishing with his grandson Harrison. You see him light up when they are around. I wish he wasn't called to heaven. God must of wanted him to perform up with him. I loved this man as a fan for 47 years. I miss him so much as do his girls and fans. I wish I have met him but never got the chance. Well, I'm a first generation watcher but my parents didn't want to watch any hippies on Monday nights. So, I'd watch if I were at a neighbors house. I also remember watching them MORE on Saturdays just because my parents weren't hogging the TV then. In short if he would have asked me he'd be wrong because I would have said Saturday morning too.

His daughters are incredible. I donate to his equine foundation every year. But the sad thing is after they film. This he met his third wife who was absolutely dreadful. She was super young, and she just married him because she thought she would get ahead and show business and she failed, she was a clout chaser just a horrible human being and unfortunately it put distance between himself and his daughters. Which is really sad. But unfortunately, men don’t think what the head on their shoulders.

Davy once said he was raised in "the church" in England. Said his mother was the organist in his church and everything "revolved around the church." John 3: 16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. verse 17 - For God didn't send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
