I've said this before, but in my senior year we had to do a report on music that impacted history for a history class. Most of the students phoned it in and talked about the Beetles or Elvis. A few did Strange Fruit, which made a lot of people in my history class and the school when we presented the art projects for it, very uncomfortable :). I chose Bloody Sunday by U2. Because I grew up in the latter half of the 80s and all through the 90s that song had a large impact for me because it showcased the horrible war crimes of the royal army. I didn't pull any punches with my presentation, my teacher, who passed everyone else with high marks, gave me a very low C... typical. Your expansion on the history of Bloody Sunday is more than welcomed to my knowledge base. I appreciate you so much for your outstanding work, because this is what we need in this world. Knowledge of how events shaped us and how we can keep it from happening again without the violence and generation of bloodshed. You're a hero, mate. Keep it up :)

I am so glad I found your channel - I was taught very little of this in school and what was taught was very pro British and the Black and Tan were sainted.

So proud that a young man like yourself takes it upon him to tell the world the history and truth about the events that have shaped our Island. Please never stop . The journey of Irish Freedom has still not been achieved but its coming and the more people learn from people such as yourself the quicker it will happen. Godbless from Belfast 👏👏✊☘🇮🇪

I talked with the people from the Sikh community they said in 1919 there was the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, the Brits used those same armoured cars against civilians, who were there for a religious festival, and up to 1500 dead.Ironically the Lieutenant Governor of Punjab at the time was a pro-English Irishman called Michael O'Dwyer who was later assassinated by a Sikh nationalist.

England's depth of depravity and cruelty knows no bounds. A united Ireland would be a great slap in the face in modern times but what about all the rest of the inexcusable behaviour worldwide? All in the name of wealth, power and greed! Great work Davie! ☘️☘️

The British seem to like slaughtering unarmed civillians. Jawallianwala Bagh, India 1919. They go to war twice to free europe from tyranny but what about the tyranny they have caused within their empire ? Unite Ireland

I am an American. I think America is approaching either a Revolution or a Civil War. I like your channel and the history of the Irish revolt. But your present day Irish government is a disgrace as is ours. I am 1/8th German-Irish. King George III took a lot of Germans to Ireland. My ancestors were so poor that they could not afford a ticket to America. They went to Canada. I am expecting nationwide food riots in America before the November 2024 elections.
