So Jesus is also God. But Jesus himself proves your assumption wrong in the verse John 17:24. Now look at the verse John 17:24 in the following: John 17:24: “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.” Here, you can see that before the creation of the worlds, Father himself has given glory to Jesus. Father loved Jesus before the creation of the world. Because of this love, Father himself has given glory to Jesus before the creation of the world. Now, prior to given by the Father to Jesus, where did you find that Jesus and Father both simultaneously had same glory together before the creation of the world? He does not give this glory to anyone not even Jesus. Look what God said in Isaiah 42:8: “I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.” God does not give his own glory to anyone. God give a different glory or honor to some of his chosen people whom he loves. Now, the own glory of God and the glory given by God to someone else are not the same. They are totally different. Again look, how God will glorify not with his own glory but with a different glory, the future generation of Jacob in Jeremiah 30:19 (KJV): And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. Now look what Jesus said in John 17:22: “I have given them the glory that you gave me, …” So now disciples have the same glory just as Jesus. Does that make them God? Of course not. God was glorified (honored) by many of his messengers and prophets in the past just like done by Jesus. How do they glorify God? They all glorify God by delivering his message to the people. All of them want reward (glory) from God to acquire a higher place in heaven. For example: Isaiah 49:3-4 (nkjv): God said to his servant Israel, “ ‘You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I will be glorified.’ Then I said, ‘I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain; Yet surely my just reward is with the LORD, And my work with my God.’ ” In the similar way, look what Jesus said in John 17:4-5: “4 I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.” So in John 17:5 Jesus ask for the reward which had been laid up for him by God from the beginning. In this case, healing the paralyzed man will be a miracle. So Jesus wanted to say them that forgiving sins do not make anyone God. Look at Matthew 9:8, the crowd did not praised Jesus and they praised God who had given such authority or permission to Jesus to do such miracle. What does the verse means which says that Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Jesus. The answer was given by Jesus in John 15:3-10. Look at the following verses. John 15:3-10: "3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. …..7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. …..9 ……….. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love." Now what do you understand when Jesus said that “remain in me, as I also remain in you”. It does not mean that Jesus is physically and literally inside his disciples' body. What it means was answered by Jesus. If the disciples of Jesus keep and practice the teachings of Jesus (words and commands of Jesus from Father), then they will remain as a believer with Jesus. And they will remain in faith with Jesus. In other words, they remain in Jesus. Again the words of Jesus (the commands of the Father) remain in the disciples in other words, Jesus remain in the disciples as you can see from the verse in John 15:7. Similarly, Jesus is in the Father or Jesus remain in the Father’s love. Now, what it means was answered by Jesus in John 15:10. Jesus has kept the Father’s commands and remain in the Father’s love. In other words, Jesus is in the Father. In the same way, Jesus has kept the Father’s commands or the Father's commands remain in Jesus. In other words, the Father is in Jesus.
