Black cardamoms 2
Green Cardamoms 2
Star anise 1
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
OTHER INGREDIENTS:
Meat 1 kg
Onions 2 medium, sliced
Oil 1/2 cup
Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Garlic paste 2 tbsp
Chopped green chilies 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Tomatoes 2, chopped
Layers
Lemon wedges
Fried onions
Fresh coriander
Fresh mint
Plums (soaked in water)
Yellow food color

• Rice 1 Cup
• Yellow Food Color as needed
• Desi ghee 1 tablespoons
• Green Cardamom 2-3
• Sugar 1 Cup
• Milk 1/3 Cup
• Raisins as needed
• Almonds as needed
• Pistachio as needed
Murree Mall Road ki Dahi ilaichi wali Chatpati Chicken Karahi
Ingredients
• Chicken 1 kg
• Oil 1/2 cup
• Green cardamoms/hari ilaichi8
• Cloves 4
• Cumin seeds 1 tsp
• Onion 1 big, chopped
• Green chilies 3, sliced (or add more for more spicy taste because we are not adding red chili in this recipe)
• Ginger paste 1 tsp
• Garlic paste 1 tsp
• Tomatoes 2 big
• Salt to taste
• Coriander powder 2 tsp
• Cumin powder 1 tsp
• Yogurt 1 cup
• Desiccated coconut 3 tbsp, heaped
• Green cardamom powder 1/3 tsp
• Garam masala 1 tsp
Garnish
• Green chilies 2, sliced
• Chopped fresh coriander 2 tbsp
• Chopped fresh mint leaves 1 tbsp
Nihari Recipe - Easy Tareen, Tasty Tareen
Ingredients
Nihari Spice mix
• Cinnamon sticks 2
• Bay leaves 3 small
• Black peppercorns 1/2 tsp
• Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
• Fennel seeds (saunf) 1 tbsp
• Cumin seeds 3/4 tbsp
• Star anise 2
• Cloves 6
• Mace flowers 2
• Nutmeg 1, shell removed, nut crushed
• Black cardamoms 2, crushed
• Green cardamoms 6, crushed
Other
• Boneless Mutton or Beef 1.5 kg
• Oil 1 cup
• Ginger Paste 1 and 1/2 tbsp
• Garlic Paste 1 and 1/2 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Kashmiri red chili powder 1 and 3/4 tsp heaped (replace with red chili powder if you want extremely spicy nihari)
• Aata (wheat flour) 3 tbsp mixed with water to form thin paste
Tarka (Tempering)
• Oil 4 tbsp
• Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
• Green chili 1-2, thickly sliced
• Ginger, julienne cut, 1 tsp
Serving
• Lemon wedges
• Ginger, julienne cut
• Green chili, thinly sliced
• Fried onions
• Fresh mint, chopped
