i think premium packs for each faction at 5.0-6.0 br are a fantastic idea. Each pack could have a light tank, medium/heavy tank, and an spaa to expose players to the broad mechanics. Having three vehicles also gives lineups instead of one death leavers, so matches will be more fun and if they keep these packs at 5.0-6.0 br then players are experiencing top-low tier which imo is the most fun out of all the br's. This also helps top tier by reducing the amount of new players who really shouldnt be playing at top tier, therefore also help new player retention.

Noob here - does it make a difference in my matchmaker when I add the tiger E with 6.0 BR to three two premiums? Because they are all rank 3 but with BR 5,7 they are lower...

Pretty much I got the M44 from the 6.7 american lineup I ended games with 8-9 kills and still would lose. One game I killed all the tigers and got over ran by Ostwinds it was pretty funny.

I really like the premium lineup pack idea, I actually made a suggestion for this kind of thing on reddit a few years ago. Granted, it was mostly original stuff [like a StuG pack with the StuG IV, some other weird StuH variant, and the weird 30mm Wirblewind prototype], but the idea was basically there. A pack of two fighting vehicles and an AA. Goes a *Long* way to cure the 1-death leaver problem, especially at these lower/mid tiers where respawning really is worth it.

If this pack is successful (which let's be honest, it will) there better be similar packs for other nations at the same BR. Would be really nice if there were packs for T-34-85 in USSR and M4A3E8 for USA. Down the line there can be for other nations too. This pack is a good idea, but of there aren't more for other nations this will be just P2W for experienced Germany players.

The bundle tanks are quite honestly just an upgrade from the regular tigers, especially the netting which makes it harder to spot and determine where to shoot. All the benefits of bushes with 6 more slots to plaster more bushes. Luckly enough none of these players seem capable of facing up against a regular jumbo, unluckly there's a metric ton of these around and they always spawn backups with 90% of games having a lot of lvl 100s facing a bunch of lower level players.

I'm a British main and I haven't played low tier since last update but the Tiger Ost will be a nightmare for APDS wielding tanks (e.g. Comet, Challenger)

i love the new map because it fits multiple play styles without making either playstyle the go to. There are plenty of sniping spots where tanks with armor and accuracy can duke it out. Plenty of cover for the mobile runners without giving them too many hard to dig out locations. Every spot either leaves you trapped or has an opening to be flanked. It, for me, allows other nations to thrive instead of USSR and germany with how often they like taking head on fights

TEC was talking about visual packs a while ago - like they did for IS-2 #321. I wish more of these eye candy will be available in the game - premium/pack/events and maybe (fingers crossed) as pages of history rewards. at the same time, getting a lineup is also an interesting concept. Hope they will extend it to more nations

Grinding out Russia 6.0 right now and getting surrounded by all these new Tigers. Win rate has been abysmal, maybe 1 out of 5 matches my team doesn't abandon and we actually leave. There's just too many damn Tigers.

No. Something else but not for the E5. If the E5 is what I think it is. Nothing that is incredibly strong already should get a full copy paste lineup of itself. Any team that had a full lineup with multiple tigers was already strong before this pack and now it’s just busted. Sadly I think that’s exactly what will happen with these packs. It’s a good idea if done fairly but a terrible idea if done in a very imbalanced way.

Decided to play 5.3 Sweden last night. At one point i ended up in a plane and amongst 12 players i saw NOTHING BUT THESE FUCKING TIGERS. The whole damn team was in one of the 2. I still maintain however, that it should have had a Panther instead of a second Tiger.

I haven't played Germany in ages, I went around and ground out all the other trees. After finding that top tier is just terrible about a year ago, I pretty much play 3.0-6.7 exclusively so I am excited to dive back into Tigers and Jumbos again, and I love the way these look, an easy buy for me.

My strategy for the new map is to just hide at one of the many sniping points and wait until someone pushes then snipe them after a while start pushing the point after a lot of people have died and the sniping points look clear

i feel this kinda kills the need to play tier 1-3, sure you need to research the required amount to go to the next but with this full Premium line up we're talking easy 5k-10k rp every game making the grind way to fast, but at the same time i love that idea. For now i dont know what to think about that but all i can say is if they ever do that with the upper tier they should lock them behind a certain progression in my opinion like lets say; reaching that specific rank OR being able to research that rank? Starting from 0 and being able to pick a full top tier line up would be deadly for those new players they NEED that lower tier experience.

I play on a pc but have a playstation Account and since a few months you cant buy the Premiums for real money and only the ones for ge show in the tech tree. So i went to my play station and there the pack isnt available but when i wishlisted it it sayd i could buy one tiger for 1600 ge. I then bougt 5000 ge to buy them but it wouldnt let me. :( I now know that the pack costs real money and i bought the ge for no reason.

Yeah, the biggest reason a team loses is because most leave after 2 deaths, if everyone in a team kept spawning they'd win most likely. Also the good thing about the pack is the premium Ostwind, first time we have a good premium SPAA, will definitely buy it at 50%

Has anyone else noticed that only premium tigers have the added track armor to the flat plate section effectively making the the plate 120 mm thick instead of 100 mm the reason you lost the last game was not because your team didn't have line ups, just because you saw no premiums on the team doesn't mean they don't have a full tech tree line up. you lost because you were fully up tiered,, both usa and russia have far better line ups in that specific match maker

If you want a even funnier one take the Tiger West remove the camo netting and the Tracks on the front are angled and spaced, pretty much makes the 75mm APHE impossible to pen even up close.

I don't know if people not having lineup is a problem. Like, you have very nice German lineup at 5.7, 6.0 etc. So having 2 extra tigers maybe helps but I don't think its the reason. If it is than my solution to the bigger problem of WT would fix this. I would decrees experience needed for tank research and also modules or increase xp gain in battles. With 10 nations in this game and hundreds of vehicles progression is to slow. Because of that all sort of problems come up. Like people skipping tanks because it's taking too long and they want to get to a certain tank, not having lineup and yea. Or big one imo is lots of people play one nation. Maybe two. So when topics of which tanks should be nerfed or buffed comes up people get so defensive over their main nation and most of them have no idea how some minor/other nations perform. But I really like this pack tbh. For 35€ you have 3 nice tanks. I think packs like this are very good. The only concern I have is the pack being to good, meaning people will play tech tree tanks less and less. You can grind 4 ranks with one single purchase. Ofc that's the entirely another problem of premium tanks being better than tt ones And on topic of why so many games just go one way, I think one of the factors is shit maps. So many maps are linear where certain nations just dominate. Another one is that so many times I see 3 4 nations that are just perfect in certain map being on the same team. One example is when I was playing Japan lineups of 1.0, 1.3, 1.7. One nation has Russia, USA, China. Another Italy, France and Japan. Gj Gaijin, good job

From playing it more after the video, Map still has way to many sight lines, once a team gets pushed back towards a spawn its hard to get out of it your almost stuck completely because the spawns are in a funnel, No cover from CAS. Its one of the worst maps they have released in a while.

Gaijin does NOT deserve any money rn. Last few updates are just bad, filled with bugs, prems, copies, "free" squadron vehicles (If you want to get it, and you want to because its so cool and you wont grind for half a year, you will just pay with GE for a not premium vehicle that wont grind you anything and its stock), more bad maps that are big and you can get killed from other end of the map. They ask you 70$ for a VIRTUAL tank, that you cant touch, or in some cases, you can get for free by grinding, but you wont grind because its very long. NGL that is a good strategy, this does get a bunch of beer fighters that come home tired from a factory and dont care about grinding, they just want to play in beer mode in a bush drinking beer. But Gaijin doesnt care about what people think or about their game, they care only about money

Personally I would never buy a premium AA by its self, because hopefully it’s not unique and copy paste like the Ostwind II is but if it’s added onto another premium I think it’s a good ideas to do.
