You cannot compare Georgia’s run game struggles with an injured Trevor Etienne, an injured Tate Ratledge, and a pro style QB without much run threat to what they will be under gunner Stockton and 4 weeks to get healthy. I expect Georgia’s offense to look much more like Vandy under Pavia or GT under Haynes King. As you saw, Stockton is a willing and able runner. This is going to for the normal extremely aggressive ND linebackers and Safeties to hesitate and account for him in the run game. Combine this with the injuries to ND’s Dline and I expect Georgia to be able to move the ball on the ground. These teams are extremely alike on both sides of the ball and it’s going to be a rock fight.

The biggest thing will be whether or not riley can actually force UGA to actually respect the pass. They dont have difference makers at WR/TE. Historically, good passing games beat UGA. Young torched them, Dart torched them, 2024 milroe torched them, burrow, Trask.... Aaron said ND has pass catchers--- their leading receiver has 445yds.... and only 2 total players with over 300yds. Unless Gunner has TOs, this is a terrible matchup for ND

All Gunner has to do is manage the game and protect the ball. Really, no different than Quinn Ewers did this past week. For the same reason. Georgia can run the ball with Etienne and a huge offensive line just like Texas ran the ball behind their huge offensive line. Also, Gunner has solid playmakers around him just like Quinn Ewers does. They don’t need to be spectacular playmakers just be solid. Gunner showed in the game against Texas he can make solid decisions and throws. Just be solid. Don’t try to play hero ball. Get pressure and throw multiple looks at Notre Dame’s QB and he won’t be as effective. I like Georgia to win this game in a close battle by a field goal. Georgia can definitely score 21+ points in this game.

Georgia has had trouble all year against quarterbacks that are mobile. Milroe in Alabama 41 pts Van Buren in Miss State 31 pts Jaxson dart in Ole Miss 28 pts Haynes king in GTech 42 pts Plus giving up over 200 rushing yards and getting gashed at will by UMass and Gtech the last 2 games of the season. I think it will be a close game. Ga Tech scored 27 in regulation, van Buren and dart beat UGA through the air, they had 65 rushing yards combined between the two of them.
