How to get from SAFE to CODE was the reason I tuned in but you kind of glossed over it - I can't believe it's neccessary to wait 20 mins for it to appear!

Mine is saying "7 safe" When you say keys in ignition do you mean the car running or just lights on the dash? Do you hold AS the whole time or leave the keys in and keep trying to hold AS every now and again ?

I remember just the key as pos 1. No need for ignition.

How did you get it to let you put code in as I’m having the same issue

Yeh it took me a while too. What I read was you need to leave key in ignition even at turn 1 for up to 40 mins and then the radio will let u enter the code. I waited for 20 mins and then it allowed me to enter the code

If you get the code wrong the time you have to press the as button doubles. So mine said 7 which is 10 minutes as I had 3 wrong attempts.... the times are. Attempt 1. 10 seconds SAFE9 Attempt 2. 30 seconds. SAFE8 Attempt 3. 10 minutes. SAFE7 Attempt 4. 20 minutes SAFE6 Attempt 5. 40 minutes SAFE5 Attempt 6. 80 minutes SAFE4 Attempt 7. 160 minutes SAFE3 Attempt 8. 320 minutes SAFE2 Attempt 9. 640 minutes SAFE1 Get it wrong after all that and it needs to be professionally reset.
