After weeks of preparation and learning my new machines from Erica Synths, I finally performed a first liveset last week during my SP Sessions Zurich Event (Click for more info: www.59perlen.c....
As you'd expect from 59 Perlen the set makes a massive use of the Big Sky Reverb hehe it enables me to play ambient chords on the otherwise mono-only bassline, and that in a very beautiful way. It also gives me back some of the missing sample-textures - in combination with the screaming bassline sounds this is really great sounding.
After I reviewed the footage I was actually surprised the set went 35 minutes only. I planned it to be at leat 45 minutes ... the switch between home and live situation is sometimes really strange.
Ah yeah and I gonna add a ducking pedal to the setup soon ("The Pill").

Groovy! It’s surprising and quite interesting that you now use the DB01 and the LXR02. I have both as well and they are not that easy ...

Hi ! Thanks for watching man. Yeah especially the LXR is a bit confusing and as you might noticed hard to operate in the dark (when you are not familiar with it as I am) I made a few mistakes by pressing wrong buttons lol performing it is quite a challenge and needs training !

​@@59Perlen I didn't notice those mistakes. I was referring to making music with them rather than with Elektron boxes, which seems more challenging to me. Perhaps it's because I try to push these machines beyond their intended use, aiming for a harder techno sound. Cheers,
