You know what would be a cool mod for Dawn of Sorrow? Some kind of weapon degradation system. So players constantly switch weapons, and actually value monster drops.

Now that I think about it, can yeti be randomized to hold waiter soul? This would result in a potential softlock no?

There seem to be two potential softlocks on the run. Yeti needs Waiter as you mentioned, and Flying humanoid needs Mandragora, so if any of those hold their prerequisite, it is indeed a softlock. There's also the very unlikely situation where Yeti would hold Mandragora, and Flying Humanoid holding Waiter, locking each other out. Jupiter also mentions usually Rycuda as being neede for Mothman, but according to the wiki, any lightning-based weapon should do the trick, spawning the enemy, so that had to be seen (I don't know if it's possible for no lightning weapons to appear in a given seed)

@@AndrewMooreMar Three months late but that bit about Mothman is correct. Any source that deals lightning-based damage activates the searchlights. Also technically speaking you should never be locked out of all lightning based weapons, They can be behind low enemy drops at worst. The only situation in which such a softlock could occur would be for Mothman to hold Rycuda, having neither Gungnir nor Mjölnir(?) as actual drops (somehow), both available as possible upgrades in Yoko's shop but them needing Rycuda soul as the ingredient. But I am fairly certain that the randomizer places every collectable item at least once somewhere (be it as a pick-up or enemy drop). If Paranoia wasn't considered progression in logic then you could have another softlock by having both weapons behind mirrors and Paranoia's soul at Aguni.
