Seeing the crowd giving them the standing ovation as they went up onstage totally brought me back to the nights I saw them live in London. Such incredible enthusiasm!! Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French are two of my heroes and I just adore them so much. CONGRATS ON THE BAFTA FELLOWSHIP GIRLS!!! LOVE YOU!!!

as a US American, I can say w/o a doubt that these two ladies are at the top of the list of my all time favorite comedies... absolutely brilliant and deserve more recognition then they've received.... AbFab as well, such a favorite of mine and like someone else said, the lines and comedy in AbFab still work to this day 20 years later and THAT is pure genius.... both such beautiful women,,,

Brilliant, so deserving are these ladies! I say that with love because we don't have people like this in America. French & Saunders are the best comedy duo in the world. A female comedy team. One was fat. 1980s. Their comedy was light years ahead and so was AbFab. Just goes to show that true comedy talent shines through regardless of size, gender or anything else. 40 odd yrs later there’s no female comics that have risen to this golden standard. I’m glad I was a teen during the years of Jen, Dawn, and their mates Rik and Ade.

In her book bonkers. Jennifer saunders revealed that Dawn doesn't not like this sort of thing., award shows or movie premieres. Jennifer was wearing a pair of expensive shoes which were too small and she took them off and went barefoot instead. Dawn has issues that date back to her dad commiting suicide. She hates the public eye. And does everything thing to avoid and lives the quiet life with her husband.
