I favor the DOA vids involving riots, especially Sleep Paralysis. When Kristof screams, Wake me TF up!, he realizes that Kansas went bye-bye when he woke up, strapped in a chair with an attached helmet on his head, in a hospital gown, symbolizing like how Neo took the red pill, woke up in the Matrix, and became unplugged... Henceforth, Kristof got a SERIOUS dose of harsh reality, went through the struggle, endured it, and then became resilient, hence the torture the astronaut looking creature man and the nurse like woman puts him through. I could ramble more on the symbolism of the madness and chaos of just that 1 video alone... I've already made the reply lengthy enough tho! LoL 🌸

Any1 else get a cross of vibes from NIN & :wumpscut: combined via Kristofs vocals w DOA's music on this track? \m/
@magyarindustrialebmzene6829 Жыл бұрын
No, this song uses a true industrial song structure with some oldschool dark electro like atmospheres and black metal style vocals. Many people call this sound world: Blackened Industrial. Their new album mixes this sound with slightly different, more symphonic and gothic elements.

Ryan Bailey awesome cant wait to hear your music 🙌🏻
@thuban63714 жыл бұрын
Sounds alright to me. Though the vocals need to be out of all the other noise a bit. Can barely hear them over everything. Overall production quality needs a bit more work. Unless they want it to sound like your speakers are drowning in sludge. DOA, easy with the arrogance. People do not need to be able to write music to have a valid opinion. You do not know the life of the original poster, and the guy may be more skilled than you think. We wouldn't want them to give you a good burn now would we? You guys don't exactly have a good track record for quality. In The Acts of Violence and both Crypt Injection are, to be honest, your only listenable albums. Bornless Fire was a very interesting project that could have been under DoA. It was boring, but interesting. Like it was almost good. Everyone has standards, everyone has a taste. Just because you get some negative feedback, does not give you the right to belittle your audience. Adjust accordingly, or just respond with an open mind. It's not like you are forced to change. You don't need to change anything if you don't want to. It's shit, but it's your shit. So have a little more respect for the people that pay your bills. @Ryan Bailey. Please don't let my cold water wait too long.

@@dawnofashes no need to get butt hurt over critism I never said your bands bad but imo the guitars ruin and drown out the rest of the music and your right I'm not a producer I couldn't afford to be as much as I'd love to try

This is like a combination of NIN, Wumpscut, and the voice of Dimmu Borgir, Shagrath. The lyrics are the ultimate sword of the truth that most of deemed society can't fathom, preferring to stay and remain plugged into the Matrix with their futile blue pills. ♟️ *Edited for typo fixes.
@ProcyonMantis6 ай бұрын
Well said! It's probably a scary video for normal society, but real life is more scary in the long term than a song calling out the corrupt. Also the normies need to learn to not enable the corruption in the first place.
@inoshishi86 ай бұрын
@@ProcyonMantis It's precisely why I'm fond of how the vocalist's mind operates, esp this song in particular. The video is my fav of all DOA so far up to their latest album, Reopening the Scars, esp as the year 2020 was so complicated. How the standing mannequins are captured as a small crowd before the band that's ironically swapped to Kristof in a hospital gown and trapped in the chair is beyond telling... ⚛️
@ProcyonMantis6 ай бұрын
@@inoshishi8 💯Covid was an extremely weird time looking back on it nowadays. KZbin deleted my previous comment cause I was referencing stuff in the video, but it is a great combination of music and visuals. Not all metal or industrial/aggrotech music and videos are good, but this is definitely one of the best 👍
@inoshishi85 ай бұрын
@@ProcyonMantis Precisely. It also gives me the eerie vibes of the 2020 hospitalization situation as things got extremely bizarre during the scene that Kristof is trapped in that seat with a hosp gown on and bizarre tools being used to prod him. I think of the quarantine worldwide as that seat where his wrists are strapped and the bizarre medical helmet is on his head.
@ProcyonMantis5 ай бұрын
@@inoshishi8 Very true. I'd love to know what really was going on back then. Was the first wave of Covid really that deadly, and got weaker over time, or was it all a psyop to inject as many people as possible (including children) and crash world economies. Some of the rules were very draconian also, and governments themselves didn't follow their own rules. Nowadays they say Covid's still around, but with 'mild' symptoms, so people can catch it and have not much wrong with them. Big pharma and corporations play a part, and good to see it called out. Truth usually takes awhile, but it's always worth pursuing, especially in todays corrupt world.
