You need more tools. If you assign 5 people to chop wood you will need 5 axes, If you assign 5 people to fish you 5 harpoons, and each villager needs a knife to skin/harvest game. That is why you have so many unproductive villages. Keep the vids coming!! I cant wait for this to go live!!

Hey all! I did a bit of playing on the side to unlock some of the extra things in the Neolithic age to speed up the video releases. It is a bit grindy at this part as there are not many things you can do to gain knowledge aside from hunting. So, you didn't miss a thing. Next episode we upgrade some homes and battle some MAMMOTHS again!

Your people need tools why your not getting max production out of your fishing (harpons) Axes(trees) sickels (crops) etc its like clothing if you don't have the tools for your population they won't work.

A lot of straw is needed for housing upgrades and domestic animals. Fishing areas are depleted fast and regularly so you have to move the fishing area frequently until the other areas restock on fish.

I find it easier to just click on the animal you want to hunt and hit the hunt button. The game will gather the required number of hunters it needs to take out the animal. for example, I click on a cave bear to hunt and the AI automatically gathers 3 or 4 people to go kill it. For the smaller game, it will only send the required 1 hunter that is needed to kill it. Of course since you have so many lazy bones in your village not doing anything it is ok to just round up 6 or so hunters and send them out. lol

Don't know why release date is so far off. Game looks perfectly fine from where I'm sitting. Would buy it now no question. Look into using the blank + symbols in the upper left and right. Hint: they're helpful.

You can click and drag to select multiple animal and then select the hunt option, people will automatically go hunting

And farming tips, Not trying to say you're doing it wrong, I love your videos and how you're playing the game, but just an idea ?

REALLY?! Haha, I only chose this location since it was so similar to the tutorial. I saw Mr. Falcon play this so I started playing right away. Really great game. Knowledge is flowing in future episodes though. I played ahead a lot...It's really good... :D

Simply was just hunting and unlocking. There was not much to say other than I hunted animals we already have seen and used the knowledge to unlock.

Raptor already replied, but I can attest to the fact that the Mesolithic is pretty uneventful. You pretty much just do the same stuff as in the Paleolithic. It isn't until you get to the Neolithic that the game REALLY opens up.

Yes you can also select any amount of animals like that and order a hunt and the village sends out more hunters according to number of hunt targets.

You should try to plant pulses as they are planted in winter and harvested in the summer. This offset from grains ensures that you'll always have a steady food supply, combined with milk and domestic meat.

He skipped over the Mesolithic Era. Probably because it was very grindy (having played the game myself, I can attest to that. The Mesolithic is pretty boring and there's not much difference between it and the Paleolithic). The game proper doesn't really start until the Neolithic. That's when you have the Agricultural Revolution and the game drastically changes.

True, by the time of the Neolithic hunting animals isn't really necessary anyway. Just domesticate some and set a pop limit to each. Your villagers will automatically slaughter the surplus.
