I first discovered power metal when I was stationed in Okinawa back in 2002. The first song I heard was "Land of Immortals" by Rhapsody. I was like "I have found my music!" "Legendary Tales" and "Dawn of Victory" were the first two power metal CDs I bought, and when I listen to them today, I still feel that same thrill I did when I heard it for the first time. Just my opinion, but Fabio Lione is right up there with Ronnie James Dio! \mm/

I find it interesting reading comments about music genre preferences but I believe the best music experiences are gained by remaining open minded. I am a 65 year old woman and my music collection is very varied. From classical, Bocelli, Pavarotti, old school days classics, to Tom MacDonald, (rap) to rock, to metal, and now Dan, to absolutely anything I like the sound of! It's very enriching and I can always find something that suits my mood.

Eu concordo parcialmente, o rhapsody se moldou para o Leoni, por isso esse conexão, já o angra tem a base e os papéis se invertem, Leoni que teve que se moldar.

Hahaha, idem aqui. Rhapsody foi minha droga de entrada pro mundo do power/symphonic/melodic metal e tb o primeiro show que vi há 21 anos! Esse video apareceu aqui pra mim e não teve como não assistir (não conhecia nem o Dan, nem a banda). Mano, arrepiei todo aqui. Rhapsody é muito foda demais e Dawn of Victory é com certeza meu disco favorito e essa música é pra mim uma das melhores músicas de metal melódico que existe!
