I've loved dawn of war for the first game and while I understand why some fans found Dawn of War 2 off putting, I don't understand the sheer volume of negative feedback on it. Especially retribution, it runs clean. Yes base building is not a thing but I don't think that's entirely essential to a fluid and fun RTS experience. DoW with mods maybe the better title but DoW2 actually feels refined and I feel like it can be played competitively along side being a good spectator experience. I'm definitely a fan of the amount of micro management afforded to the players in DoW2, it improves on the UI and hot key management which I feel is one of the most important aspects to making an RTS worthwhile. Thanks for your upload.

Brilliant from the IG. They clearly saw the anti-tank teeing up in Tier 2, so they completely wrong footed the Tyranids with an infantry mass and then when the Tyranids tried to adapt to that, THEN the IG brought out the tanks. The bugs just couldn't adapt as fast as the Guard could switch threats.

I dunno what would be a good choice for t2 tyranids here. range blob with zoanthropes, venom range synapse and stuff gets raped by manticores and meelee blob of genestealers gets raped by catachans and supression teams as seen, maybe melee synapse could help a bit but not sure really. Maybe some combined melee-range force with tyranant guard to tank damage and distract or just play eco into quick t3 mass carnifexes pwnage? Great cast as usual. I want more! :)

Man, the tyranid are so fucked in real game play, so nerfed. I feel sorry for them. Seems Games workshop has a galaxy sized hardon for fucking the tyranids over. In storyline, the tyranids would of had 20 times that number of troops to throw at the imperial guard, not equal numbers. Also, imperial guard leaders that can get into meele range of a hive tyrant and not get insta eaten? Please, so stupid. A hive tyrant eats tanks for breakfast, a imperial guard general or commisar would be nothing more than a very light snack.

IG needs some nerfing, upgraded catachans are fire resistant, do power melee damage, can shotgun blast , grenade blast and melta! with globals and abilities they are OP, and the commissar reflector shield should not protect him against knockback, great game BTW

@@johnisaacfelipe6357 Catachan Devils: IED sight radius reduced from 35 to 30. Sarge cost increased from 60/20 to 75/20. Sarge now gives +5 melee skill to the squad (70 to 75) while the Sarge is present. The IED sight radius is busted and gets a reduction here. The Sarge change is there to make your catas not fly around all the time against melee anymore since they are meant to be a melee counter themselves.

Balancing is only done for 1v1 reasons. Team games are not considered when patching.
