Don't be scared, it is a lot of fun, and players are (usually) freindly. You can always write "low 1v1", it usually make people only join if they're not good. Also if you're afraid of a good player join, you can always get dowstats app to track there skill lvl and mmr, so you can tell them to leave if you have to 🙂 Besides, team games are always an option too 🙂

There is no such thing as "disgustingly" defensive, defense is BEAUTIFUL, specially in Dawn of war, a game that usually punishes defensive play styles hard.

Hi, im looking to get into dow multiplayer, can you give me your opinion on which version is the most populated? Base, unification or ultimate apocalypse?

Base/vanilla is by far the most played of all the versions. Unification get's a lot of views on youtube, but in terms of player base, it's not close. Unification is the alternative tho, a good chunck of people play that aswell, but if you look for the playerbase size, it's vanilla all day. I don't know about ultimate apocalypse, but I would imagine it having an even smaller player base.

Aren’t the dark eldar the same as chaos humans? Since the dark eldar are those who mainly worship Slaneesh then humans worship chaos gods.

nah, Dark Eldar are cursed by Chaos but they are not aligned with it. Slaanesh will eat Eldar no matter what you did, so there is nothing to win for DE to worship Slaanesh.

Space marines vs Dark eldars is even worse cause the match up is impossible on all maps not like chaos where DE can win on some maps
