The adeptus astartes are genetically enhanced humans, hence the space marines, their weapons are the bolt guns, bolters,bolt pisotls etc, the bolt guns use a massive bullet that contain an explosive.

TwoDollarDeuce RollerCoasterGod Having played through all of the factions with multiple people, I have to say that Dark Eldar and Necrons are DEFINITELY the most powerful factions (Orks are a tide of Free Boyz, but in the end their Stompas can't quite deal with the massive Relic units others have). Dark Eldar have devastating Soul Abilities, godly Dark Lances (They chew through EVERYTHING short of Relic units, and even then they pack a big punch), INSANE movement speed, the benefit of webway (Portal) shenanigans and the ability to build INFINITE Relic-Generating Soul Cages THAT ARE UPGRADEABLE TO STORE MORE RELIC POINTS! Combine this with relatively cheap Titans (Say hello to the Shadow Superheavy Floater, the Tormentor Titan, and the mighty Void Dragon Phoenix), and you have an early game full of rediculously high-damage infantry and a late game full of a circus of Relic Units at LEAST three times the number the next guy will have. Although, as a note, I will say that Dark Eldar are nigh impossible to do well with if you can't get that early game point advantage. You really need a strong economy to get the Murder Machine going, and about two to four tarpit Melee Infantry (Such as Cultists or Kroot) REALLY put a hamper on that point advantage. Usually, Dark Eldar would just be able to kite around the melee squad with the insane speed boost they get from the toggleable ability Feet On Fire, but the minute or so they're spending kiting around some cheap melee unit is a minute they're not spending killing your actual firepower that you have taking pot shots at the Dark Eldar as they run around your infantry! Just remember, less land means less Requisition, which means less Power Generator Upgrades (Something Dark Eldar SORELY need to pump out the big stuff), and in turn means less Requisition Upgrades!

Im not sure about the mod, but you can recruit a squad of grey knights if you are playing as Space Marines. Its kinda lore breaking but its a nice command squad.

I remember playing skirmishes on this level with me and two AI, with no teams on. Every single time, I'd get attacked by both AI at the same time, and there was just nothing I could do. They really didn't like me for some reason

You guys need to get your resource income greater faster, get a couple units out and cap points then get listening posts and before going to the next tier get all your listening post and generators upgraded then you can get everything faster and more units more Apocalypse!

If you are doing 2 human players you need to do 2 computer players or its too easy because of unit caps and speed bumps.

If you stick it on insane the computer will still usually win. They're just on too low a difficulty.
