Hi happy new year and thank you for joining me on this wintery walk on the Nakasendo. It's really nice to walk this preserved section of the old walking highway and imagine what it would have been like to make the entire journey on foot during the Edo Period. The snow was a nice touch as well. Nakasendo from Magome to Tsumago was an incredibly inspired walk that ties together a pilgrimage when contacting the forest's own spirit which makes the whole experience very much appreciated because it was wonderfully filmed.
