Mirage dive seems almost as a chore to use, more than the crucial mechanic to the kit it used to be. Idm it, but considering you gave us a few new OFGCD’s to fuck with just seems like it has better use on the aoe rotation than the single target, as does wyrm wind.

Heaven's Thrust still seems to have a higher potency. Why buff Chaotic Spring instead? I've seen this in a couple places now, but I'm not quite sure what change in the kit made that become the better use for LS. Is it for better alignment with the 60 second burst windows? Life surge and mirage dive seem a bit like bloat. Every time I HJ/MD I just feel like it was a waste of an OGCD. Overall though, I've really been enjoying the pace of the job. I didn't think I'd like Winged Glide much, but it's actually pretty awesome and has grown on me. edit: looking forward to your future videos

When forced to use life surge on a 440p HT or Drakesbane outside of buffs due to overcapping otherwise, it's better to instead use it on any 340p GCD (CS, Lance Barrage, 4th) during LC, GSK and BL buffs

This is mostly solved by triple weaving when relevant though

@@siorainori Oh interesting, I didn't think about the potency effect from capping on LS charges outside of burst windows. That makes sense though; I'm going to need to spend a couple hours on a practice dummy to really feel it out and let it click though. Buffing Heaven's Thrust and 5th hit (during 2 min) is hammered in my head. For triple weaving, is the ping requirement more forgiving than in 6.X? Thanks for the info!

Im bummed drg seems unusable on high ping. Stardiver+dragonfire and the new skills clip so hard

It's not great but not ninja levels of bad. You can still play the class, you just won't parse.

Oh no you'll do 1% less dps it's literally unplayable it's not like you'll be missing 25% dps from hitting the floor anyways

I've been doing the exact same rotation and I've been having a lot of fun farming extremes so far. Also I think there's a lack of movility compared to other melees now
