They should correct themselves first because this shouldn't be video recorded. Do these reciters not fear from themselves riyaa'? Not blaming the reciters fully but they should reject such a thing in their face whilst in acts of worship. May Allah protect us from all forms of shirk.

Correction: there seems to be a mistake in the recitation, 3:54 He says: قال سلامه قوم منكرون whereas the Ayah is قال سلام قوم منكرون verse 24 of surah 51

You are correct, although its very subtle and difficult to tell. He also does this at 3:27 he is adding a ha at the end of لحق . However this could be a video editing/sound issue/fault ? Or could it be a different riwayah ? @imam yahya

Brother first of all this isn’t his channel, it’s the masjid’s and they record many sheikhs leading the prayer. Also Masjid Al Haram has been doing this since before KZbin even existed.

I get where you are coming from akhi, because I actually saw a fatwa from sheikh saleh Al fawzan regarding this issue aswell, and he called it Riyaa. However masjid humera often does this where they record the recitation of their guests, so you cannot say that this was brother dawoud or anybody else’s that leads Salah to record themselves. (Also personally lol I love seeing and listening to these recitations it would be kinda boring if we didn’t have all this online)

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته . Obviously I do not know what is in the hearts of the people, but what is the benefit of filming ? They can Record it and not put the face . This is Islam, Allah's religion. It is not to be taking lightly. It is a tremendous affair. The sahabas and the scholars were scared of being hypocrites so they did their deeds in secret. Who are we today not to be scared of ostentation? There is multiple hadiths on this!! Why not simply record and not put the faces?!? No face no case like we say in jahiliya... Also comparing Masjid Al Haram to thes neighbourhood masjids is outrageous. And y'all speak with no knowledge and start being condescendant..anyway we'll be held accountable for our acts. Don't think your comments won't have weights in your balance..may Allah increase us in knowledge
