Great review , That Huku configuration is spot on. I agree that’s perfect for in the house. Never thought I’d spend that on a light. 😂😂😮💨

The Hoku is my first “custom” light. Coming from custom knives and guns this is new territory for me. Curious to see how it compares to like a surefire stilletto which I currently use.

Great review! Wonder if you could show the beamshots side by side - would make it easier to see the difference between the beams.

Ive owned both. I bought them before the tail clicks were offered. I sold the my brass/copper hoku twist (too heavy for size )and kept the CWF Ti twist. Tiny light & the massive lumen output is amazing but it just burns through batteries. I dont think you can go wrong with either one, I had Charles put a 4000 in mine opposed to the 5000 it comes with. Kinda prefer the 14500 cell more for EDC but Ill never sell the CMF Micro Arcadian!

Do lumens vary depending on color temperature? Is that why the outputs are stated in percentages.

They can vary depending on emitter type. Colour temp can play a role but you can still get a 500 lumen light in any colour temp
