8:24 either way. Even if Napoleon didn't make that move chat was going to be able to capture the pawn using a secret technique known as... the En Passant. ... pawn on d4 will be captured by pawn on d5 moving to either e4 or c4.

It does make sense that chat would be good at chess, after all, there's no time limit, delay doesn't matter, and if one person sees a good move, everyone else will see what that person did and realize how good that move is. Napoleon on the other hand, has short term memory loss, and doesn't know how check works. I hope you realize how unfair it would be if chat was allowed to cheat. Napoleon, on the other hand, doesn't even know the implications of his cheating powers, or even what the board looks like, he deserves to cheat. Napoleon is the underdog, and I hope he wins one day.

Not quite. Just because one person sees a good move doesn’t mean they can communicate it to the rest of chat, meaning chat usually only plays at about the average level of everyone watching. We’re definitely significantly better at it than a fast-paced game like in other challenges tho. For instance: taking the knight on d5 with the queen was really bad (against napoleon, not in a normal game) because we were threatening checkmate if he ever moved it, which is why I wanted to play c4 or something to try to trick him into taking it or moving the knight away. And also because, y’know, the queen got taken.

Loved this reaction! The AI is very funny, and DougDoug is great at being an entertaining narrator and at prompting his AIs You should check out more DougDoug when you have a chance - I love the Pajama Sam video especially, but that is two hours so maybe in multiple parts

What I'm adding to the video is 1. My opinions on what's going on in the video 2. letting people revisit videos they have already see through the eyes of someone else 3. Not everyone has friends that have the same interests so I'm a kind of stand in if you don't want to watch something you love alone and as for watching this video instead of the original is not the intended use of my content and is only a issue with bigger reaction channels my analytics show 80% watches are unique viewer and have found me with the search for this video with dougdoug reaction meaning most have seen the original video before hand and for the rest of that 20% that watch for me I hope to show them new content creators that I enjoy to watch as other reaction channels have done for me I know there's a new big hate train on reaction channels again for the 600th time in reaction channel history but I would like everyone who sees this comment I only react to videos I really enjoy and creators I love to watch if my content ever became a problem to them and there work all they would have to do is reach out I hope this is the response good enough explaining why I do reaction videos
