I loved your question of how does God see me. I am the family scapegoat - literally sent away - set apart. But then I realized that Jesus is our scapegoat. So, if God sees me as the scapegoat, because I am a scapegoat, that is a beautiful thing. And for the first time ever, I am comforted by that title, not ashamed. And it makes me want to pray 3 times harder for my family. After all they have done to break my heart, I still pray everyday that they may be blessed and of course that they come to know God. And whenever I am asked how someone can pray for me, I always have them pray for my daughters. I have a lot of people praying for my estranged daughters. So, if anyone wants to, please pray for Samantha and Julia.

I totally agree with you, I see myself like He sees me, finally understanding He was with me during those hard and lonely times, hurt afraid and ashamed of my choices. But I remember the times I cried out so desperately for God to just hear my cry and guide me. He did and i see it today. I was saved Nov. 2023 and baptized. My life today is such a 360 but I am all in 100%

Thank you. I wrote a small play loosely based on Ruth but much modern version and took the song “Sacred Trust”by The Bee Gees as the music theme. Would be comfortable reading it if I sent it to you? I’m a novice but always have loved writing. I hope you are not offended by the phrase Jungle Fever. It’s what I could only come up with when in context . Sooo my favorite book of the Bible Again, I am extremely thankful for you doing this study for/with us.. Boaz did tell her to drink water where the men did… tho he did also say for her to stay close to the other women… with my PTSD I confuse things quite often… not remotely saying she had PTSD, but- she was now living where she was unfamiliar of their ways… not excusing, but trying to see where Ruth was coming from here… I lived in Costa Rica a couple of years, and I often got confused by all the customs and twisted many things Blessings, Joanie
