History of Wolves sounds so intriguing. The example you gave of the kind of thoughts Linda has definitely sold me. It seems like she has intrusive thoughts a lot which is not represented in fiction much at all even though it’s something a ton of people experience. It’s very common in the minds of people with anxiety/panic disorders and/or depression and I almost never see characters have intrusive thoughts. In fact, the last time I saw that was while I was reading The Hunger Games trilogy, the Divergent trilogy, and the Legend trilogy. Other than those books, there isn’t much. Definitely going to pick that up soon.

Boys Life by Robert McCammon is a weird coming of age story that you might like! I read it for 9AP English in high school and it was one of my favorite reads in school. It's on the longer side, but it's got super weird elements to it too and isn't your run of the mill coming of age story!
