It was 99% isopropyl alcohol.

Wonderful Art… you are an Inspiration for so many people. Do you prepare your canvas with something? Perhaps gesso or something else? When I start with alkohol and Alkohol inks on canvas, the ink was so quick inside the Canvas. So I cannot move the Colours. Thank you for your answer.

What do you put on the canvas to prepare for the ink so it doesn’t suck it up?

I need help, I'm just starting out and I'm having trouble with the alcohol. Isopropyl rubbing alcohol the same as the alcohol you use.? Some say they are 100% alcohol but then say it's a rubbing alcohol.

It depends what percentage of isopropyl alcohol it is. I wouldn't do anything less than 91%. I have a video comparing the different types of alcohol. I am using 99% in this video but you can achieve the same effect with 91-97%
