What a great way to start January - my Art Journal was neglected in December after a very busy month re-organising my entire home to make extra crafting space! Now I am super grateful for the extra space and this is a fab way to celebrate it! Sending good vibes for 2024!

Oh how wonderful 🤩your home must feel so free and light and full of possibilities. I am a firm believer in decluttering our spaces from time to time.

You are welcome. Its something i keep reminding myself anytime I forget and start taking myself and my life way to serious. We have a lot to learn from children 🥰

Hi sweet Alison ! First of all I would like to wish you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year filled with love, blessing and for you tons of creativity 🤗❤️! I so love what you have come up with ! Using up scraps during the month of January is great ! I have finished the challenge I did with Karen of finishing a project till the end of the year ! I did it …well cheated a bit as I had 4 extra days to complete the whole sketch book with collages of abstract faces (100 !) and 54 Quirky Figures we did on sketchbook revival ! All in collage ! Now I will try to do your Challenge this month ! I love cutting up papers and even got myself a dressing doll ! I loved them when I was much much younger and still do !! I have decided to keep the child in myself out every single day to have fun and create !! Thank you so much dear Alison for sharing your ideas and time ! I truly appreciate all you do ! Sending you a warm hug and love….Lorraine 🥰🤗🔖✂️🙏🏼

Aww what a lovely message thank you so much 🥰 and Happy New Year to you and yours. Glad you like my January challenge of using up our paper scraps it’s so fun. Good for you for finishing up your art projects to the end. Yes that’s the trick to keep the creative n playful child in us alive. Question what is a dressing doll?

Hi again dear Alison ! I have replied to your question about the dressing dolls 3 times and neither of them appeared !! Well I will try again and hopefully it will stay put !!🤗 I think in the US they may be better known as paper dolls . You have paper dresses for them and you can make your own by tracing around the doll. I used to spend hours designing clothes for them when I was young ! I bought a book at a charity shop with one and am thrilled about it as it takes me back to my childhood ! By the way I have started working on the January Challenge which you have so kindly suggested and managed to do till Day 6 which is today ! I still have to think about the quotes but they take less time to do ! If you wish I can send you a few to see when I get the quotes on. Sending you hugs …Lorraine 🥰🤗✂️🔖
