My buddy and I as of the beginning of last year started building our own shelters here and there out of materials near and around the original shelter/platforms. I was shown your videos about 5-6 months ago. Since then we started a new shelter. This one being more winter oriented. And man, I must say, your videos have helped us through our efforts of having a sweet makeshift campsite built out of our own blood, sweat, and tears. Using only our surroundings to have areas to be warm and dry. I’m not sure why, but there is something about camping in an area that you built. It’s similar to camping with tents and what have you, but 10x more appreciation, comfort, and gratitude for nature.

I think Waterworld 1 was the reason I subbed to this channel. Loved it one of my favorite series on youtube along with bearded woodman's first season of wilderness survival where they did nothing but suffer and eat pike.

Actually, the reason of the "don't bring banana on a boat" is quit simple and makes sense. Back in the old days, food on sail boats was really bad. So sailors, and passengers would fish along the way to improve their meals. However, boats transporting bananas would never slow down and go as fast as possible, making it impossible to fish. This, because bananas spoils quite fast. So the reason of "being on a boat with bananas is bad luck". BTW, this is soooooo cool! I can't wait to watch the next episodes :)

Put the kayak rope through a length of pvc electrical conduit to keep them a little way off the boat. Knot at each end as required. If you are towing two, add two rope/conduit stays per kayak to make a V shape to keep them distant, and in place. to draw in closer to the mothership, undo one and pull it in.
