Update - my baby is now 12 months. She has started nursery. First day, she went on a hunger strike till 4 at nursery, today she ate a little bit of food, every 2 hours and seemed more settled at nursery.

Love your footage, super helpful, I am going through the same time, my baby is 14 months, exclusively breastfed until today, she isn’t into eating her solids, growth chart looks bad. I plan cut breastfeeding in in 4 months, I currently reduced the feeding frequency and the duration of feeding.

It took a little over two weeks for her to completely stop trying to nurse. The tantrums only lasted a couple days. If your really ready to stop nursing don’t give in!You really have to commit to the process and stay strong! Its def hard but they will get it eventually. Good luck mama you’ve got this!

Its ridiculous how 'addicted' they get to a nipple, literally like a drug addict. If you’re ready mama def do it! Start weaning her! You could shorten her feedings, and start taking away a feeding if you don’t want to go cold Turkey. If you have help have someone else put her to bed.

Those are not CROCODILE TEARS. To BREAST FEED is Normal. As the mother, you did not prepare the Baby for WEANING. Babies know nothing about their age. READ, READ READ or ask an older Mother, The NURSE OR THE PEDIATRICIAN. SHE may get more from the "Comfort of BREAST FEEDING, other than milk". Read and be PATIENT!

Feed her food FIRST. Let her feed on demand. Put a tiny bit of pepper or something else unpleasant to wean her. Cabbage leaves to dry it up. Never wean all at once

If you're talking about 7:05, the 'loss' wasn't the first thing out of her mouth. She said "good morning" and only said "no mimi" after her daughter reached for her chest and asked to nurse, so the mother didn't remind her first at all. Its hard to hear, but she literally said "good morning" first.

I feel it getting spicy and spicer 😂 he likes the whole milk with breast milk but still loves to latch! He just pulls up when he pleases and head butts me in the morning to get my attention to turn over and let him latch. It’s so hard for me cause I’m a momtrepreneur and everyday I have to put out content and do my thang and he’s always glued to the hip! He takes whole milk and solid foods, any tips? Bandages? This is truly your fault as a mother. Mother to mother why would you go past 1yrs old with breastfeeding??? Your daughter is to old to still be breastfeeding. She needs nutrition and vitamins that are not found in breast milk. That's why she is under weight and not developing as a child her age should as per your pediatrician. I use to pump my milk into the bottle after nursing from my breast just for the 1st month only. Most of the time when they nurse they are just pacifiering the mothers breast instead of eating. I wouldn't nurse a toddler

I never shame anyone on how they choose to feed their child. No one should! Breast feeding has SO many benefits and it would be appropriate for you to fully educate yourself before commenting. Breastfeeding is A LOT of work, I agree, it takes time and dedication but it is such a blessing to be able to provide amazing nutrients and antibodies for my baby from my body. Being a mother isn't about what is the easiest thing to do, we make sacrifices for our children. As a breast feeding mom of a 20mo toddler I feel so so blessed to have this amazing bond I share with my daughter! Mamas don't let anyone shame you, breastfeed, pump, formula feed, keep doing what you are doing! You are amazing!
