Was it worth going to sail away and missing your 5pm Dining? I have the same situation but we are all first time cruisers.

I thought it was worth it because I enjoy the experience of watching the cruise leave the port & the party vibes since we’re all excited to start our vacation. Especially knowing that we had dinner at the main dining room every day at 5pm for the following 6 days, even though the food does change. Also, Windjammer food is so good that I enjoyed it just the same. I will say, the sail away party is basically a DJ playing music & people dancing as you leave Port Miami vs Disney cruises whose sail away parties have performances with characters, countdown & confetti. So it depends on what’s more important for you guys. I hope this helps! 💖
