Know y’all like the 64” x3 but a long travel kit, 50-60% gear reduction, and 35s absolutely transforms a pro 4 into a crawling machine. I ran 64” for about 1200 miles, portals for about 400 miles, and long travel now for about 2600. The long travel is by far the best setup imo for hard rock crawling like you guys do.

Thanks. It’s gonna be fun seeing how the rzr holds up against the can ams. I’m sure there will be parts to replace but our can ams are build as strong as you can build a sxs. There aren’t any better parts to buy so they are as strong as they can possibly get. There tapped out as far as that goes and we still break them every ride lol.
@bigbusdriver478211 ай бұрын
Long time 4 seat rzr guy… you need 35’s and high clearance trailing arms to clear the same obstacles as a 2 seater on 32’s, or a completely different mindset and approach to obstacles that involves accepting that your going to constantly be on the skid plate. Lol You’re not going to hit hardly anything the same as you do in a 2 seater. Lots of approach angle differences, starting your approach way sooner is a must even around trees! Lol…Also a 4 seater with people in the back is a totally different machine than a four seater with no one in the back. But once you get the clearance and adjust to the 4 seat, you’ll feel weird and unsable in a 2 seat. You probably know all this, but it’s stuff I wish someone had told me when I first bought mine, even though you figure it out pretty quick! Lol. Enjoyed the episode!

@TheCanAmCrew11 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, the KRX just has to many weak links and not enough power for us. We need a lot of umph to bump rock ledges and they don’t do well with that. I will say they crawl great but for what we do it just wouldn’t work.
@marka171211 ай бұрын
@@TheCanAmCrew I was joking about the krx but this response is crazy. Too many weak points vs a rzr? Are you actually serious? Polaris is a joke until rebuild the entire machine, you even had to wait to get yours for a do not sale recall lol. And power yea they’re down compared to a turbo but all na machines are obviously and there is nothing a can am or rzr can do outside of dunes and fast tracks that a krx can’t be right with or ahead of. I doubt you have driven one and the only time I’ve seen them in your videos is when the old f’s on the outlaw trails and just because you’re old and have money don’t mean you can drive.
@TheCanAmCrew11 ай бұрын
@marka1712 wow, I didn’t think I was going to offend you with that comment. We’ve ridden with a lot of krxs. We’ve seen first hand, the drive shafts are weak, prop shafts break in the trans, diffs explode. Not to mention they are 85 wheel horsepower and 2200 pounds. The gas tank has a drive shaft tunnel running in the middle of it so you only use 7 gallons of the 10 they say you can use. They don’t have a park and only an emergency break. I could go on for hours naming things I don’t like about it. Just because I don’t like it doesn’t make it a great machine. It just can’t do what we want it to. Don’t let me saying we don’t like it get you all worked up lol. The days of people having a civilized Convo about likes and dislikes has gone by the way side now a days.
@marka171211 ай бұрын
@@TheCanAmCrew im not offended I just find the comment about weak points odd if not downright hilarious when you’re puffing up a rzr which is known by all to be a pile of shit until they’re totally rebuilt with upgraded aftermarket parts. All the krx issues you named besides the gas tank design is mostly caused by driver error and you can’t floor any machine and land on throttle and not blow a diff, axle or driveshaft. I’m surprised you seem to be offended because I called your comment out for being silly. Oh and ridden with and driven are totally different things.
@TheCanAmCrew11 ай бұрын
@@marka1712 I simply told you why I didn’t like the KRX and you got all bent out of shape about how crappy the rzr was. You were most certainly offended. I don’t get offended. I deal with comments like this all the time. I have to have an open mind when dealing with thousands of different personalities a day. It’s all good, some like the KRX some like can am and so on. I don’t like the KRX so I won’t own one. It’s just that simple. I’d personally rather dump 10k into my rzr than by a KRX for 5k. That’s just me.

The diameter of the actual shock is the same but the length is different. The adjustment is 1/2 to 1 in the front end 1-1 in the rear. Meaning you move the rear 1 inch you gain or lose 1 inch.
