Day 1 Salvation's Edge: THE MOVIE

As I touched on in the intro, I originally was going to split this into two different parts for a few reasons. The first reason is that I had a sponsorship obligation, so a video had to be uploaded within a certain window of time. I knew this would be a massive video, with a runtime the equivalent of 4 full videos, so I didn’t really want to go 3 weeks without uploading anything. By the time I finished part 2, I figured I would just insert part 1 into the video, rather than inevitably making a third “THE MOVIE” video where I combine part 1 and 2. I am now working on part 2 of my campaign play through. It should be another long video, and potentially my last Destiny 2 video for some time. I was really ready to go full throttle on variety about 6 months ago, but waited until Final Shape to make that swap. With that said, expect a lot more variety in the future!

Bro what are you on about, Karnstein's have BEEN great. One kill + Empyrean means I've got Resto up, and if it was a finisher I have Resto x2. It's dummy easy for survival. I was using it for master and legend content for a long time, especially if I had a glaive on. I wouldn't take it in to a GM... but most other high end content it worked great.

I love 4th encounter.... but man, there are definitely some folks that just CANNOT grok how it works. My group has a guy that raids with us frequently, and the first 4 weeks or so, this encounter just kept taking HOURS because he kept fucking everything up, no matter how we explained it. The next week he was away, so we got a replacement who had never even run it before... literally first try, it was done.

By the way sir D, thier are ways to make 4th encounter easier. 1: during the ghost section when three people fake die, figure out where one person is get them up, then if you know who's ghost your holding second, or someone else has the 2nd person, simply ask them where at they see a glowing statue ( you fo not need to know what the person looks like) by doing so you know that since thier are only two possible deposits left, and you can never see yourself, you just go dunk at wherever the deposit is, that isn't the one they said they saw a glowing statue at, doing so let's you get all three players up with one descriptive callout, and one vague callout like how Chris was in the video. 2: don't double up, just have everyone get rid of both thier shapes, this makes it to where all three players have had every shape pass through the room so they can get out. After everyone has passed out both thier shapes, then you can do 1 of 2 things, either callout who needs what (one person should have both shapes they need and are done, the other two players simply need to swap between the two of them) or look at the order that was type in chat (let's use cst as an example) if the c statue room has both a triangle and square, then the t guy simply sends his triangle to square, waly square sends his to t. Alternatively you can just pay attention to where you sent your first triangle (gonna be the triangle guy for this example) then ad soon as triangle is sent to your room from another player, you just send that one out to where you dint deposit, if everyone does this, you can get the inside room done with no communication, so long as everyone does it right. I've done this multiple times, and on average, it takes us around 20 to 40 seconds to do inside. It's also less complicated to learn than double up, since you only have to move 3 shapes instead of 4, and if your lucky only 2 shapes, and it doesn't require any communication, plus if your already doubled up you do not have to wait for everyone else to get doubled up, you can just go waly everyone else is. 3. If ypu ever dissect, simply just get one shape to double, and you can then dissect in 2 swap sets (Also can be done in 3 sets if at triple true) 4. Use something that glows (necrotic, loreals, the hunter Golden gun on hip cosmetic) those all glow even when the staue isn't thier allowing you to get those people up without waiting for someone to call it. 5. During the 6 person revival, get one person designated up first, which will allow you to get 4 people up with one callout, since the 1 person and second person up can grab who they see, which ends up getting 4 up with one call, then the 2nd callout gets the reaming to up due to process of elimination (if you do this encounter with 4 to 5, then all you need is one callout. 6. If you have revives to spare, just kill yourself beside the 6 person ghost section starts, then revive after it starts, and it takes those people out of the ghost section
