This is stage 29 of the Camino,
We left the Hotel Alfonso IX and literally followed the yellow arrows or markers, don’t worry you won’t get lost as its well laid out ,and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it way.
Don’t forget you won’t be the only walkers ,if in doubt ask, people are very obliging.
Today was spread equally between quiet country roads and natural pathways, much of this stage is along tree lined roads,
So good shelter from sun and rain, you will pass through many small hamlets, some of which provide food, and there is many fountains to get water.

How long did it take you to walk from Sarria to Portomarin ?

roughly 4 or 5 hours it depends on you really, we stopped for a drink and chat with people along the way.
