Day 1! Spring 2024 Vegas Vlog | A.Y.C.E. Buffet | Palms Casino Resort | Big Wins at The Cosmopolitan

Join us as we head to Las Vegas via car from L.A. for the first day of our five-day Spring vacation to celebrate Ms. Ellabellita's birthday! On the first day, we drove from L.A. to Vegas and predictably got caught in traffic, but not in the city-way out in the desert 😫 Although we were an hour late for our lobster dinner reservation at A.Y.C.E. at the Palms, they still let us in so we could enjoy a yummy dinner 🙌🏻 Then it was on to some gambling at the Palms on free play, followed by check-in at The Cosmopolitan and some special birthday treats, and finally a successful night of gambling at the Cosmopolitan with big wins on video poker!

Good morning Ellabelitta and a Happy Belated Birthday 🎂 and going from the 20’s to 30’s is 😢and so sorry to hear about your cat, to have her for twenty years, her memory will always be with you. Yeah $62 for the buffet is kinda steep but it’s a Vegas😉that drive to Vegas is becoming more brutal every year and you’ve thought California would have added lanes to the I-15 by now because Nevada did on their side. That was very nice of Mr E to get you balloons and the decorations, personally I think he was buttering you up so when he’s pressing max bet on those high roller denominations you’ll just say, what the heck babe it’s Vegas and go ahead and knock yourself out🤔remember sometimes it’s better to ask for forgiveness😁😁nice win Ellabelitta and starting day one is a positive sign. Good luck the rest of your guys stay in Vegas🍀🍀💵💵

Thank you so much for watching, John! And thank you for your condolences. We had our cat since she was only a few weeks old and bottle fed her for weeks, so we had a very special bond. We didn't really want to go to Vegas after all that, but I had taken the time off from work ages ago and I definitely didn't want to work, so Vegas it was! Mr. E was very sweet to make sure the room was decorated for me when we arrived. I'm wondering if we should start flying to Vegas, but we do like the flexibility of driving, and we take so much stuff with us! Much more from our Vegas trip to come in the next several weeks :)

That was very nice of Mr Ellabelitta, I’m sure you know us guys sometimes do stuff that makes you shake your head, but at the end of the day we know it’s takes two to ultimately make a relationship to work🤗good luck tonight and have you guys ever gone to Green Valley Ranch or Sutherland, something different than just the strip or downtown😉

@@johnreyes1749 sorry for my super late reply, John. We have been to Red Rock but it was some time ago, so we need to make a return trip. We stopped by after going hiking at Red Rock Canyon since it was right there, but we felt a bit out of place with our casual dust-covered clothes and didn’t stay long. We’ve never been to Green Valley and we need to give it a try as I hear great things about it!

I’m still thinking about that wedge salad-it was my favorite item at that entire buffet! Video poker was definitely kind to me that night. I usually lose big on my first night in Vegas, but I saved that for other nights this time around 😂
