You earned it cap priceless emotion my favorite ridge on the whole A.T. and havent even been there yet.Way to plan around the weather so you can take that all in somethimg super special about Franconia.Several places on the A.T get the stairway to heaven name well theres only one staircase to heaven and that one is it.

My thoughts exactly!!! The world is beautiful, tough, unforgiving, uncaring, and we make our way through it. We create our joy and our meaning because the rocks possess none of that, that’s how we know we are different. We bring meaning to the rocks, the rain, the mud.

Love the emotion!! It does surpass words but “Just Wow” is a great way to put it. Thanks for not hiking naked by the way! 😂. PS. The freebies at the Huts are awesome! The camp money is for the shelters though, it’s for the Privies! Some are cleaned out twice a season to keep up with the use! It’s a sh*ty job that I will gladly pay $5 or $10 bucks for!! when you were standing atop Mt. Lafayette, in the background, was Cannon Cliffs. First time I saw them going through the pass I was hooked. New Hampshire was for me! congratulations on your swift progress and have an epic day running around Washington!
