Summit Day! What a climb! My best congratulations to you! Yes, this must have been an emotional day for you...just getting to that iconic Katahdin sign.....and to share those moments with family is really special. I am thankful for the weather and the safety that you were blessed with to climb and descend that spectacular mountain. I was happy to hear that you and family relaxed by the lake after that exciting day. I took my dog to a lake and noticed he floats very well. He's a good buoy.🙂 5 Stack, you've had an incredible journey and have shown much courage, dedication, endurance and determination. Today, I celebrate with you...your success and achievement. So, time to go home...do one more easy Appalachian Trail planning session, and then take us to the NOC (I didn't forget!) for those final special 8 miles that you saved for the end. And, after you hike those special 8, we will celebrate again! What happens when a hiker with incredible geology knowledge completes his Appalachian Trail through hike??? I'm late to the party but I want to say congratulations on your archievement and I wish you the best for what comes next in your life. I came accidentally to your channel when I was searching for Florida Trail vlogs and discovered that there is already someone who does Appalachian Trail so early in the year. This is the first time I was watching someone's path from the beginning (I think I started from day 3 or 4) and it's also probably the most episodes of any "TV serial" I saw since I was a kid. This is my first and probably the last comment on your AT hike but I'll be waiting for the last remaining section video and I hope to get some more "bad impressions". Enjoy summer time!
