You should play 10+ min games, they allow you to think more before a move. It's okay if you prefer this way though, but there's more room to grow in Rapid than in Blitz or Bullet.

What I kept noticing in people who want to learn chess is that mostly, they would only go for one big plan in their minds which is not particularly great ig. Also, the main plan should always be to block opponent's one. Anticipating is key there !

Go slow before you go fast. Walk before you run. Beginners should always start with playing longer time controls. That is one of the many things they do not do and that is why they are stuck at lower ratings. If you want to reach 1000 - 1500 ELO fast, i can coach & play with you.

You could have sacrificed the rook taking the knight 10:23 cause if he takes back gxh5 then you have done queen takes on h7 and then you play Bishop to e5 and then no matter what they do you have check mate with the queen and the knight
