Our pastor actually preached on false prophets this week. He used Matthew 24:24-25 as reference. Whenever I come across a new Bible study podcast or a sermon podcast, I always asked God for discernment and ask Him to not allow me to be led astray. I did the same thing when I came across this podcast and it's like God gave me a big thumbs up. Thank you for staying in His word, and yes, of course, we may not always agree, but we are trusting God. When you get the negative comments, praise God, it means you are doing something right and stepping on toes. Thank you Kanoe and Holly, for this ministry.

Kanoe, How could we EVER rebuke you for being human? Did Jesus not say, "Let the first of you that has not sinned be the first to throw the stone?" We are all human, just like you. I am positive there is not one among us that has not had someone tear us up with words, and we have or have wanted to retaliate. We are walking with you through this Bible Study because we have been led to it - to you. Thank you for all you and Holly do for all of us. I'm confused... in ch14 v10 it was said that God will kill all the male descendants, young and old alike of jeroboam. so i don't understand in ch14 v 20 how jeroboam has a son called Nadab who suceeded him as king. Wasn't Nadab supposed to die too?

In the notes for chapter 12, it says Rehoboam is the only child of Solomon named. Did I misunderstand 1Kings 4: 11 &15 ? Are Taphath & Basmath daughters of Solomon? I'm confused, but I could be reading that incorrectly or misunderstanding it. Can someone help me understand, please? Thank you.

Kanoe, I amso confused from 1 Kings 13-18-25. Did God kill the first prophet that was told to not eat or drink by the lion, and if so why didn't God punish the one that lied? It is so easy to get lost when scripture uses so many pronouns...you don't know who is who. Thank you...I love your teachings❤
