Did you spend your vacation this year during the holiday season in Florida?

Unfortunately, we haven’t got to Florida since we last went in 2019, we were planning to get there but it wasn’t worth booking and losing money with the risk of it being cancelled due to covid. We are currently keeping a very close eye on flights for next year though hopefully! We book everything separate rather than through a travel company so we risk not getting our money back if it does get cancelled. Luckily I have so much footage from previous years, they keep me going until we can hopefully get back soon 🤞

@@DisneyDink Thank you for your answer. We have spent our vacation in Orlando almost every year since 1988. We love it and yet we miss it very much. We are only ever with two people, so booking a whole house would be too expensive. So far we have been there twice in November / December. Usually we always go around Eastern. We always book everything individually, so we can understand the problem with reimbursement. I think 2022 is still too uncertain and spending the whole day on vacation with a mask is not that great either. Therefore we hope to finally see our beloved place again in 2023. @@MyFlorida24 Hello! apologies for my late reply! It's cool you started going in 1988 and almost every year since because that's exactly when my parents started visiting! They did the "once in a lifetime" in 88' and ended up going whenever they could after that lol! Taking me and my sister along when they had us too. My mum was actually pregnant with me at the time on their first trip in 88' too...fun fact 😂 You guys go at similar times to us, we have been Easter time previously, just prefer Christmas. Previously went in Feb, March, April, October, Nov, Dec and early Jan. We are looking at Nov/Dec for this year fingers crossed! It's lovely having the freedom to book things individually isn't but it is the reimbursements that would cause a problem. My parents would actually like to try a hotel, it's me and Joe who enjoy the villa feeling but the prices are up significantly at the moment. The mask wearing would defo have a negative effect on enjoying Florida, I really hope things settle! I have my fingers crossed for you to get there 2023 - let me know if you book!
