Day 2 of fishing and camping in the California mountains (Sequoia National Park)

Day 2 of a 2 day trip. Weather was perfect! Caught an insane amount of fish (wild trout). All catch and release this trip.

Looks like the middle fork Kahweah. Paradise creek? I have a couple friends that work at ash mountain. Its a nice area over there. If you keep heading up general's hwy, theres Kahweah marble, then you can hit stoney creek, then ten mile creek, that leads into hume. Then you have the upper, upper kings. Nice country back there.

I typically fish the Marble Fork. Cooler temperatures up there during summer. I’ll check Paradise Creek next time I head up the mountain. Thanks for your comment! 🤙🏼

Fished the marble fork last year for the first time last year for like an hour. The little guys in there are certainly eager and got some crazy cool colors on em. Def going back this year again. Cool vid man

What is that fly rod you're using? That looks like an awesome simole setup! A lot of the places you've fished are in our backyard. Would that setup be good for kayak fishing? Could you catch a 2 to 3 lb. trout with that?

Tenkara style fly rod. Super compact and works like a charm. Basically it’s fishing with a stick. 😂. Link in description
