Quite a blast.I remember long ago when a storm like this isolated Fleetwood and the only connection was the railway.Must have been early 1950s.

We had this storm bad in West Midlands (South). I did think about Blackpool front. I mean it is bad enough on a windy day there, the wind can be fierce. We moan about losing fence panels/roof tiles but some places have it a lot worse. Follow advice and stay inside and only travel if necessary. Mother nature is uncontrollable and I would rather not take the risk than take the risk.
