The river hasn’t been the same since the floods of 21 , we fish between the bridges most weeks , a couple of years ago a days fishing could see 20+ fish landed . A good day now is half that and good days are few and far between ..

How you all travel that distance for 1 or 2 pulls I dont know there has to be better matches bk home but hats off to you I couldn't do it good luck for tommorow sounds like your all going to need it 😂😂

Listening to your comments I cant help but wonder if there are no better venue's which can be used in Spain to hold such a Major and Prestigeous Festival. I feel very sorry for all the anglers who spent all that money and time to turn up and basically enter a lottery. I know you said you feel sorry for the Organisors. I wonder how to Pole anglers who are fishing a separate competition are fairing. I hope that you find the TIME to reply to some of our messages as we take the time to listen to you. Cheers.

I fished the Ebro about twenty years ago. Caught 100 lbs of small carp and barbel.

😂 Wake up Tommy! 😂 The organisers are laughing all the way to the bank! Them and the hotel are the only winners in all of this! Between their greed and the bull crap algorithm it's mocking match fishing and I for one find it disgusting. I read somewhere that the match length was dredged the week before the match. Once again I don't know the price each competitor is paying but that greedy spick in the tackle shop is 25k richer by Monday morning. You knew it was fixed in October but choose to say nowt, why am I the only one that can see it?

It wasn’t dredged mate , they had a lorry with a hiab grab and the just pulled out some of the banks of weed and debris . The river hadn’t fished the same since the floods of 21 , and the algae bloom in 22 , the algae was that thick it looked like you could walk across ..I fish this river most weeks and it’s hard work , the best time to catch seems early morning or late afternoon , that’s before the match starts and after it ends ..🙄
