idek if thats a world setting option, but no, its all default worldgen

@@salem.88 everything in the game can be modified, especially grass geckos. you can set them on lots to make them appear in almost any biome. still, very lucky start.

The luckiest thing probably isn't the beginning, but the nearest sinkhole being next to the correct Toadstool spawn. The mosaic being next to the PK deciduous saved a minute maybe, but the sinkhole being next to the correct Toadstool may have saved many, many minutes of running in the dark looking for a spawner, then probably resetting if it was empty.

No, that's not what is happening. The boss is switching AI modes just as what happens normally. Panfluting just set him to sleep before he entered that tree-summoning phase.
