I'll keep my honda. Runs great and starts every time.

Just commented on your first review of this blower and I see that the batteries were the problem. Second time is a charm as they say so I think this is a much more positive test result. Thanks for the review and keep them coming ... Cheers

shouldn't even be running anything under the 7.5ah packs in this machine. Odd he even got those with this unit as I've never seen this thrower come with 5ah packs.

I'm watching a lot of videos about this snowblower. It's amazing how far the technology has come. I have a 16 year old 24" Honda track driven machine (2nd smallest on their catalog) that has zero problems but it struggles a bit with really heavy and wet snow. It has no power steering and I find myself with sore shoulders and back after use. Also, sometimes I can spend about 3 hours outside using the snowblower to clean my driveway and help out my neighbors. I need something that can last at least that long. I'll stick with Honda and get their Hybrid 36" instead. It tilts, steers, and propels itself. All I have to do is push levers, manipulate a joystick, and follow behind.

does sheer pins easily break ? good demo video!!! I cant wait to use mine. just waiting for snowwww

The sheer pins seemed to break more easily than the ones on my old Ariens snowblower. I've used it mainly on heavy wet snow though. I'm sure it will be better with just fluffy snow. Hope you get the chance to use it soon, it's fun!

I have used my EGO snowblower for 4 or 5 years now. I have been fortunate to have never broken a sheer pin. My snow ranges anywhere from 3 inches to concrete like snow that the township piled in front of my house, when I was on the end of a street.

@ginsu101 I got to use 2nd stage ego snow blower back in Jan/Feb. I didn't like how easily the chute moved around with heavy snow, so I had Ego send me that upgrading kit. After installing it, it was rather super tight that I had hard time to shift direction😅 I opened up a bit of the mount of the kit. The chute shifteg gradually with heavy now with that. so I think I ll check and adjust again next winter. overall, I love it. Im glad to have said goodbye to Ego single stage! so much better.

I think a rock had gotten stuck on the side and it broke.

Will it work good in ego mode at 6 inches of snow, or do ya gotta turn it up?
@sripley102 жыл бұрын
It should be able to handle 6 inches in Eco mode, especially if it's fluffy. You might need to bump up if it's heavier.
