I agree I usually end up with three bases - one in central pond in the pine forest which is the middle of the map, one in the new waterfall area and one way out on the other side of birch forest by the,pond.

The dev has rebalanced the game in the past, but it was always to make the game even more grindy lol. He's gotta pad out the gameplay considering there really isn't a whole lot in this game.

I suggest you store your refined lithium, silicon, & obsidian in the electrical bench along with some pearls & electrical components to facilitate crafting directly from the bench instead of collecting items from the different crates & placing into your personal inventory. For obsidian you have to go further east with the mountain flank on the right. There are many rocks there where you can find obsidian.

Wolverines would be a great animal add in for competition... But also being able to befriend the animals would also be cool. Befriend the Eagle so it hunts for you and being able to tell it where to Hunt AKA have it clear an area of small game around an enemy base. Forcing them to have to risk Bear and Wolf attacks while hunting. Befriend bears to give the enemy messages of Good Morning. Befriend the moose to rampage through their camp constantly... aiming for the enemy when it can. Manage to befriend the Alpha pair of wolves and get the entire pack attacking for you. Maybe going a little crazy with it but cougar friends and wolverine friends would be cool to... LOL...

I think one of the complaints for Ark in the past was performance issues? If so, Ascended on low settings with medium shadows both looks better and performs better than Evolved on max ever did.
