DAY 224 HOMELESS | sell my stuff with me!

DAY 224 HOMELESS | believe it or not this was at like 11am when i was suppose to be at work. Work let me leave early to sell my couch, my boss knew i had been just WISHING to get rid of this thing so she and a coworker cover a couple of my hours for me to take the time to finally get rid of this thing.
This was a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders, it was a tremendous milestone for me, i started to finally see how fast God was moving for us. I couldnt had been more thankful for my coworkers and boss at the time to be so understanding, helpful and encouraging 🥹🤍🙌🏼

I was homeless for 3 years with my dog. Our car broke down early on and we had to sleep in a tent, couch surf and stay in sleazy motels but we treated it like an adventure and eventually I got us off the streets. I still have my sweet dog and it was absolutely worth it. 💗

My family and I are in the same situation right now. We have 3 service animals. One for me my daughter and husband. People kept telling me to filet rid of my dogs and I’m like “Hell no they are part of our family too.”! We are living in Phoenix AZ an there has been days that are so hot outside. They send out a heat warning. They have cooling stations here but you’re only allowed in there two hours at a time and that is not enough time to cool off. Plus some of them don’t even allow animals. My husband and I had to start selling our own personal stuff to be able to stay in a hotel. I will say this God has blessed us so much since we got evicted from our home. The front desk Lady in the hotel has been such a blessing by helping us with our room. And God has worked in so many ways that I never thought would happen. I’ve been looking for work for such a long time I was about to give up. But then I told myself that I have to put my trust in faith in God. Little by little each day, he has proven to me that if you just lay your burdens down at the cross and put your faith in trust in him, everything will be Okay. That’s exactly what I did. God directed me day at church to go talk to my pastors sister-in-law. I am so grateful that I did because of her helping me with getting an interview. God has opened the door and got me a job. I am so grateful and so blessed that he has protected us and has blessed us. We have to do is just lean more on God. Put our faith and trust in him and not in our own cells thinking that we can fix the problem on our own. We need to quit being in denial that we can always fix everything. That’s what I had to do was finally admit that I needed help. I know right now everything is going to work out and things are going to get better day by day. I am so sorry that you had to go through this. I will pray for you that everything will work out.❤❤❤

@@WisdomSounds-xo4ws it’s about $71 with taxes. So about $2130 a month. That’s way more than what we thought. But we have no choice. Recently, my pastors sister-in-law got me a job working at her in-laws company. I started last week on Wednesday. But then on Saturday I got sick. Went to the hospital on Monday. Dr told me I got COVID 😮😱 So right now I’m trying to get better quickly so I can go back to work. I’m so grateful that my husband started his new job this past Monday. I’m so grateful that God has closed doors I didn’t want closed. Then opened doors I never thought could open. He is so good.

Ive been there, i lost everything, the storage facility auctioned my unit off. I was able to get the money owed but I was late. I contacted them to pay at 2:12 the day of auction , i was told all my things were already gone, said tjey were sold at10:00 that morning. They said the init was cleanedn out. I think they lied. 6 mo. Later im still trying to get my personal papers , and photos. Your very brave. Being homeless , then loosing everything . im 56 it has been devistating. ... Ive worked my whole life. Nothing.

I was homeless for 4 years after my husband passed away. Then, two weeks after I finally got moved into an apartment, my truck broke down and I had to junk it. Now, after living here for almost three years, the landlord sold the building and the new owner is trying to evict me. I'm 62, on Social Security and I am disabled. This apartment building is housing section 8. I talked to the housing authority, the new owner and a lawyer. The lawyer said that the new owner can't do that. Housing said he can't do that. The new owner wants me and the other tenants out in 30 days and he will give us $750 for an incentive. That's not enough to find another place, get a storage unit, buy boxes and tape. On top of that, I'll need to rent a truck. The last time I moved, it cost me over $1,000 for all of that I mentioned above. I also have two elderly cats, ages 18 and 16. They have been with me since they were kittens. I also have a dog that is an ESA. She is almost 7 years old. I really hate having to go through all this again. I am so stressed out right now!

I assure you, although it’s incredibly challenging, you’ll look back on this experience as the time that you found out how strong you really are. You got your baby with you, and that’s all that matters. People call me crazy, out of their own willful ignorance, but I met Jesus Christ not long ago, and He’s already changed my entire life for the better. I’m praying for you, but if you pray and cry out to Jesus for help, I guarantee you He will perform miracles. God works through people, and I want you to remember that, bc soon, you’re going to be receiving one blessing after another. People will feel compelled to help you bc God is directing them to. God allows us to go through the hardest trials bc that’s the only time we truly seek Him. I cannot wait to see your comeback story, Sis!
